Greetings Brothers!
I pray this word finds you blessed and living your creed. Welcome to the Nu Chi Chaplain’s Corner of this our beloved pearl of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc.
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus selected his disciples and later he calls them his friends in John 15:15. “I have called you friends,” (John 15:15).
Brothers, even Jesus faced joyous and challenging times amongst his brothers. Yet he was able to
nurture their brotherhood despite the most difficult trials and tribulations. Let us model the example of our Risen Savior and sharpen one another through prayer and uplift. The unity we model to the community, will serve as an example for others to follow.
When challenges present themselves in your life or amongst the brotherhood, think on these things:
1) Pray: James 5:16
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
2) Reason: Isaiah 1:18
The prophet says to Judah, “Come now, and let us reason together", says the Lord,
3) Reconciliation: Matthew 5:24
Before the altar, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Let us live out our creed, honor our cardinal principles Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift.
